Gratitude… gratitude is an emotion expressing appreciation for what we have as opposed to what we want or “need”. Gratitude is what gets poured into the glass to make it half full. Studies show that gratitude not only can be deliberately cultivated but can increase levels of well-being and happiness among those who do cultivate it. In addition, grateful thinking and especially expressing it to others is associated with increased levels of energy, optimism, and empathy, and the list goes on and on! As the week ends and a new fresh one is about to start, I paused and look back at the highlights of that very unique week and decided to put everything or part of it into writing and share…

♥ I am thankful for our growing beyoutiful community; Yoga means union, gathering beyoutiful souls around the common thread of Yoga is such an exciting and powerful journey.
♥ I am thankful for all the yogis and yoginis that I meet in my teaching adventure, a smile, a kind word or just an eye contact is all that takes to remind me why I have chosen that path.
♥ I am thankful for becoming an Australian Citizen; I love this country and am so proud of being formally part of it! This is certainly a milestone that marks the beginning of a new episode in my life.
♥ I am thankful for the love and support around me, my beautiful boyfriend, my family, my Yoga Sangha, my friends and all the people encountered along the way who share their kindness and wisdom.
