This weekend Melbourne is hosting the Australian Grand Prix, an exciting event for sports cars fans, for others, it is a real “challenge”: cars’ engines are buzzing around the city like gigantesque swarms of bees, planes and helicopters are roaming in the sky like in a time of war… This is where yoga comes into play! Practicing your ability to handle external noise by cultivating and tuning into your inner silence will bring you a real sense of peace. Last year, I wrote on a very similar issue in my post “the sound of silence”. Living in a society where external noise will only keep increasing, it is essential to accept the oscillations of our close environment. Having said that, I am taking the peace and quiet exit tonight but will put my yogi powers back into action when I am back to teach my late morning class on Sunday at Goodlife in Armadale! ;-) Have a serene weekend yogi(ni)s!
