Yesterday we welcomed a new moon in the early hours of the morning, way too early for a Saturday (6.44am)! New moons happen when the Moon is located in between the Sun and the Earth, and as we only see the side of the Moon that is not being lit by the Sun, we cannot see them. But new moons hold an important symbolic in the lunar cycle, they are symbol of change, symbol of new beginnings. See where this is going? ;-) Can I ask where you are at with your new year’s resolutions? Have you done anything to achieve the goals you have set for yourself two weeks ago? And if not what is stopping you? Do not feel guilty this is not the point here but rather let the first new moon of the year be the opportunity to start fresh again, this is your chance to set some solid foundations for the year ahead! (Re)visit my article on “new year’s resolutions” and establish your new year’s Sankalpa!! :-)
