Unwind + rejuvenate
in the ancient practice of yogic sleep
The practice of Yoga is fundamentally an act of kindness toward oneself. This idea is often forgotten. If you are feeling fatigued, stressed or overwhelmed, join in and experience the ancient practice of Yoga Nidra to uniquely unwind your nervous system and rejuvenate.
WHAT IS YOGA NIDRA?
Yoga Nidra is referred to as “yogic sleep”, “dynamic sleep” or “psychic sleep” where you learn to relax consciously. It is a very deep form of relaxation and offers a myriad of health benefits. The most commonly known ones are immediate and physical benefits such as reduced tension, stress, anxiety and restlessness, as well as improved sleep.
WHO CAN PRACTICE YOGA NIDRA?
No Yoga experience is necessary. The process of Yoga Nidra is truly accessible for anyone who can lie comfortably on the floor. We will use props to support the body in positions of comfort and ease to facilitate effortless relaxation. Mats and props are all provided on the day. Bring your own eye bag (or a face wash). Wear comfy clothes.
