I know I know I know, it was about time… and believe me: I’m not proud! Things have been a little busy lately, and when I write, I like to have time… Which paradoxically is not the case today but I really wanted you to know that I think of you all the time, even when I am not writing, in fact I do keep a list of all the topics that I am inspired to write about and would be of the Beyoutiful Community’s interest. So by all means if you have anything in mind that you would like me to write about, don’t hesitate to email me, I’ll add it to my list and will prioritize it!

As I was saying earlier, I have been a little busy lately, busy preparing and organizing a few new yoga “rendez-vous” in Prahran, I am so excited!!! Just in case you missed all that, here is a little recap:

Father’s Day

Well, yes! It is Father’s Day this Sunday and we should all make our Dad feel special! What else is happening?

While I was reflecting on what the next steps could be to pursue my profound desire and dream to keep helping people transform their lives through teaching Yoga, I stumbled upon Amanda. Amanda is the owner of Angea Yoga Studio in Prahran, a beautiful little space where Amanda helps women trying to conceive through Fertility Yoga. I fell in love with the space and its energy (it is Feng Shui designed!), and I had a great connection with Amanda so I could totally and instantly envisage starting some new classes at Angea. I was absolutely thrilled to find an environment that shares the same values:

“Angea’s philosophy is based on the ancient Sanskrit word “Satsang” which translates to a space where people come together, share, connect and experience yoga.”

Hence it didn’t take long for me to get working on two “beyoutiful’ offers… keep reading! ;-)

6-Week Progressive Course: the Foundations of Yoga
Starting Tuesday Sep 3rd to Oct 8th

Yoga beginners course with Beyoutiful Yoga in Prahran, Melbourne

I didn’t want to call it a “Beginner Course” because I didn’t want to exclude people with a previous experience of yoga. Indeed, many people start yoga attending a mixed level class and keep going with it, but never had a chance to properly learn and explore the fundamental principles of yoga (postures, breath, philosophy). And of course there are also still a lot of people out there who have never tried yoga before but would love to, learning the “foundations” is reassuring. I personally think that getting the foundations right is a prerequisite to then cultivate a regular, safe and informed practice. PLUS! I absolutely LOVE introducing yoga to new comers!! Making new connections, seeing students’ faces light up as we move through the class, hearing how great they feel afterwards… it is priceless! This is exactly the kind of things that I never felt in my previous corporate job, this sense of service, purpose and accomplishment. Whoops am I digressing a little or am I! For more information on the course, click here! Booking essentials & places limited to 12 students.

Yoga in French!
New Weekly Class in Prahran Starting Sep 5th

Yoga in French in Prahran, Melbourne

I have always been impressed by the high interest that Aussies have for anything French. And it is probably why it feels so good for me to live in Australia, I feel welcome, I feel home! After my two Yoga in French Workshops with Nath from Cosmopoli’ French,  I realised that not only people love French language and culture but that for those who can speak French it is quite challenging to keep practicing it. It is so true, believe it or not, even when I talk to my family on skype, it takes me a little while to express myself with spontaneity, I often forget words! Combining Yoga and French is not just a fun idea, it is a necessity! See more details here… Pre-booking recommended & you get a 10% discount.

Et voila, that’s the long story made short! I hope you have now forgiven me for this long period of silence… feel free to comment below to say hi and let me know what you think of these new offers or if you would like to see more. I also hope to see some locals at Angea Yoga Studio in Prahran, an inviting & intimate space to connect with like-minded yogi(ni)s, embody the beyoutiful community spirit and share the one thing we all love: yoga!

With gratitude, Alex :-)
