As I got a touch nostalgic thinking about it, I thought I would share a little bit of a beautiful French tradition today… In France, today is Labour Day, but it is also ‘Muguet Day’! When I was a child, every 1st of May, I would go for a walk in the woods with my dad to pick up some ‘muguet’, this beautiful white little flower that blooms on that day. We would then come home, separate the flowers from the leaves, and make pretty little bunches of ‘muguet’ to offer to my mum and our close ones as a wish for happiness… Funnily enough, I just received a card from mum in the mail this morning, a card with flowers wishing me happiness for my name day (which was last week). It goes without saying: it made my day!!!

hAPpY 1st of May beyoutiful yogis and yoginis, wishing you all lots of joy and happiness with this virtual offering of ‘muguet’! ;-)

Note: ‘Muguet’ seems to translate as ‘Lily of the Valley’.
